New MegaEPG for DSTV (non SA Based)

All the channels in the xmltv file on this site and savage.org.za have data up to 22 April. When you use quickguide to update the epg, the changes are not immediate, have you tried a reboot? We have an alternative epg (zaepg) now that is easier than quickguide, changing to that may be simpler than trying...

No skin off my nose You can set the registry key manually if you want, media center resets it daily but it will allow you to get the epg. Use regedit.exe to set HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\Service\EPG\discSvc to http://savage.org.za/epg/GetTVServicesMetaInfo...

Error 13 in an internet connection related error, Aaron Stebner has some tips for troubleshooting . It may have been a problem with an upstream proxy if you were not able to download the zip file either. Nothing has changed on the epg server between the times you posted because the updates are scheduled...
