Re: Is this of any use?

    Hi Colin

The program is for DVB-T programs. DSTV broadcasts in DVB-S so no this program will have no use to us.

I think DVB-T will be the new digital standard that is coming online in the next few years so maybe further down the line we will need programs like this.

    Anyway nice find.

    Regards

This looks promising http://www.dvblogic.com/ , anyone seen it, tried it? I imagine you need some kind of capture card.

DVBSBridge products combine ease of use of Windows MCE with the versatility and reliability of dedicated digital TV applications. DVBSBridge seamlessly integrates satellite (DVB-S) and cable (DVB-C) TV sources into Media Center, including support for MPEG-2 HD video and multichannel audio.

DVBSBridge enables all native TV control features of MCE for these sources such as Guide listings, live TV watching, pausing live TV, one touch and timer recordings.

In addition to that DVBSBridge is capable of Guide information extraction from the incoming digital stream. This information can be subsequently imported into Media Center using BladeRunner.
