    DualView Decoder switches to 0

    Hi,

Since the channel shuffle, My decoder switches to Channel 0 at random, I have no idea why and this wasn't happening before, any ideas? It really screws up my recording and Media center can't seem to change the channel to get out of it

    Any help will be appreciated,

    Thanks

    Mh

I have the exact same problem and it drives me mad! The MCE remote signals are somehow picked up by the DSTV decoder and it always changes to channel 0 (the guide) which MCE can't change channels out of. You have to press Exit a few times on your DSTV remote. I have tried covering the IR receiver on my DSTV decoder with various things and even that hasnt worked!

    Hi,

I am not sure if you still have the problem but I fixed it by changing the IR transmit from FAST to SLOW in the TV Signal Setup.  It worked for both XP MCE 2005 and Vista MCE.

     Hope this helps........

    Hi,

I had the same problem, all I did to solve it was buy some black isolation tape and covered the whole decoder display including the remoteblaster ir relays.  I think it is the arrow buttons on the MCE remote that cause the Decoder to switch to 0. After I did this I have never had the problem again. I thought I would miss the decoder channel numbers being displayed but it really isn't an issue

     Hope this helps

    Andrew
