    Media Extender Stolen - need a replacement

    Hi All,

    1. If anyone sees a Linksys Media Center floating around with no remote or CD give me a shout - I just had one stolen.

    2. The prospect of paying R4k for a replacement stings my ring, especially since I am getting R1500 from insurance (I paid $250). Any suggestions on where I can find something at a more reasonable price?

    Bummer dude.  That blows!

    I doubt whoever stole it even knows what the hell it is.  Probably thought it was an amp or DVD player.  Idiots!

    I hope you and your family are OK and that no-one was hurt. 

    Good luck with the hunt.  Can't be too many of these things in the wild though!

    Kek, sorry dude.

    Probably better though cause now you can get an XBOX360. I have stock - R3800 core, will have you back on the road in no time and with mind blowing results.
