Major MCEGuide changes, causing your guide not to update anymore

    Hi Everyone

On the 7th of February, I made some changes to the headendid's of the following guides:

    • DStv Premium
    • DStv Compact
    • SABC, e-TV & M-Net

These changes will result in Media Center reporting that the guide is no longer available. If you used any of the above guides, please set up your guide listings again and select the same guide from the list.

These guides are still available and have not been suspended. So don't panic if your Media Center tells you that your guide is no longer available for download.

For more information, you can visit http://www.mceguide.co.za/news.php. Also check out the site every once a week or so for the latest news articles regarding the MCEGuide service.

The reason why I post the same information here, is because I can see that there are still a LOT of people trying to download the old guides that are either no longer available or have changed over the past few months.

There are even still people connecting to the ZaEPG guides that were suspended last year. I can't help to think about all those poor souls, believing that they no longer have a native EPG, just because they don't get on the net and search for an alternative solution. Anyways, just to be clear, you can still use ZaEPG to access the guides provided by MCEGuide.co.za, however Colin no longer hosts any guides.

If you have any questions, drop me a mail.

    Cheers
