PDF EPG Guide from Savage not showing documentary details any more.

I downloaded the EPG PDF guide for June/July and it was useful. Now when I downloaded it, the format had been improved BUT the details of the various programmes were missing.

    >>It has in effect become a clone of the DISH magazine with all its flaws.<<

For example; I can see that on National Geographic there is a series called "Seconds From Disaster" at !5:00HRS, but I cannot see which one it is.

Please will someone make the detailed version available?

    Thanks.

    Hi DawnTreader

Thanks for the feedback, without that I have no idea what people want. It can definitely be improved so let me know what you think.

The pdf version *is* supposed to be like the dish magazine, but a little more up-to date and less adverts. The original layout that I used was simply too big (1000+ pages) for me to update every day with full descriptions on every show because I use my home internet connection for the upload. I borrowed a dish magazine and looked at that for ideas so that is why it is a "clone". I'm open to changes in the page layout too if you think there is a better way. What I can do is put in the show sub-titles where they exist and also the episode numbers if anyone uses those?

There is also category information for documentaries, sport etc. so I could put those in like the "Movies by Category" pages?

Thanks for taking the trouble to do all this.

Yes, the DISH format is useful to get a quick glance at what's showing, but not great when it comes to episodes and sub-descriptions. With all the repeats, episode number is also useful. The DSTV.com guide has the data, but it's a pain to see it in one go.
