Site news: SA MCE needs you!

The SA MCE Community is looking for forum moderators and other contributors to assist with the running of this site.  My available time to look after this site is demininshing at a rapid pace. With Windows Vista being launched shortly, and MCE being included in some versions of the new operating system, the demand for knowledge on MCE in South Africa will grow.  There are going to be a lot of people who will be looking at MCE in the near future and we can serve to MCE community much better if this site is in tip top condition and we have the opportunity to take this site to another level.

If we have enough people moderating forums and answering questions, then I can focus on delivering a better backend to keep everything running smoothly with the little time I have left at the end of the day.

If you are interested in becoming a SA MCE moderator, just reply to this thread.

    Thanks

    Hi Chris

I would be happy to help out with moderation and helping other people out. I am a regular lurker at both TGB and xpmediacenter (aussies) and keep an eye on all the blogs of the mce developers. I do have a bit of time spare that I could use to help out.

Let me know and I will be happy to help out.

    Boz

    Hey Chris

I am no means an expert, but I have had my MCE box running for about a year now. I am also a member of the Aussie community and have posted and replied to quite a few posts. I have an ADSL 1024 line which has been bumped up to 4096 (Telkom test) and have access to the interent at work aswell as at home (384 line at home)

I do not profess to be an expert in any way but I am more than willing to share the info that I have learnt (with the help of others and often the hard way).

    Just let me know.

    Cheers

    Gareth

Re: Site news: SA MCE needs you!

Your guys' moderator rights have finally been created and assigned.  Sorry it took so long - all this work with the site instability and moving hosts got me side-tracked a bit!  Tongue Tied

I have created a private forum for all moderators called SA MCE Administrators Forum.  You should be able to see it under the Administrators forum group.  We can continue any discussions there.

    Thanks again!
